Our Team Is The Heart Of Retouch
I’m the original office dog and I make sure everyone has a chance to pet me. My favorite thing about working here is the free snacks and walks. Outside of work I really enjoy swimming, digging holes in the garden and eating things off the floor.
I’m the office’s guard dog. If you can’t find me, I’ll always be on the couch watching out for packages to be delivered. I occasionally take breaks and sleep in the hallway, so I make sure everyone knows I’m still here. My favorite thing to do outside of work is to play with my older siblings and take over the couch during naptime.
My coworkers would describe me as the office mom. My job is to make sure everything runs smoothly for the jobs and the “kids” in the office. The most rewarding part of my job is creating valuable relationships with my coworkers and being there to help others whether it is personal or work related. Outside of work I enjoy crafting, reading, and watching my daughter play softball.
My love for design and construction started when I was about 6 years old. My childhood home was always undergoing renovations and honestly, I probably could wield a hammer before I learned to walk. I graduated with a major in Interior Design (hence my job title) and a minor in Marketing and Management. My co-workers would describe me as Lightning McQueen because I learn fast and drive fast. Fun fact about me is that I love adventures! Everything from fishing, hiking, traveling, working out and cooking. You name it and I’m down for it!
I started working in the industry in 2007 with a background in trim carpentry. I have a strong eye for detail and a passion for seeing spaces come together with precision. The ability of our team to produce a product of exceptional quality is something I’m especially proud of. In my free time I enjoy lifting weights and playing the cello. Improving spaces changes lives and being able to do that daily gets me fired up!
My greatest strength is my positive attitude, even in the face of adversity. My favorite thing about working here is being part of a team working together to create something beautiful for our clients. My favorite way to spend a vacation is road tripping through Colorado, Yellowstone and Glacier national parks.
My greatest strength is my attention to detail and I take pride in making sure every job goes as smoothly as possible and ultimately that the client is happy with the finished product. Outside of work I enjoy fishing, hiking and anything outdoors.
project manager-Kitchen & bath
I graduated from Pittsburg State with a B.A. in Interior Design and Construction management. As a Project Manager, I value most my team, my clients and the way my projects are handled. The duties I have at work are constantly changing between setting budgets, organizing schedules, and the most important part is thinking fast on my feet when a problem arises. A few of my favorite things to do outside of work are kayaking, trying out new breweries with my husband, and fostering dogs (even though I already have 4!). You can never have too many dogs right?

My colleagues (and my husband) would describe me as a ‘take charge’ type of girl who is still kind and very hardworking. I might be a bit of a perfectionist, but that’s generally a good thing in my line of work. Like most things in life, I think good communication, team work, and motivation are essential to every project. I love working here because I am always learning something new and I get to work alongside great people to create something beautiful. After work, give me a giant plate of wings and some pizza and I’m a happy camper!
Project Manager-LARGE ADDITIONS & COMMERCIAL
One of the best pieces of advice I received professionally is “Work Smarter not Harder”. I learned that through the process from starting as a carpenter to working up to a Project Manager that you can always learn something new. Family is what motivates me to succeed at work. That’s why 4th of July is my favorite holiday because of family gatherings and beer. Anything with a cold beer and I am a happy camper.

If I were to describe my job, I would say “I build things that most people couldn’t even imagine”. I thrive on solving problems that may seem impossible to others. I think the most rewarding part of my job is that I can turn the homeowners’ dreams and ideas into reality. In my downtime, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and riding motorcycles. One day I would love to go salmon fishing in Alaska and teach younger trades all my skills I have learned along the way.

My greatest strengths are my reliability, accuracy and competency in my craft. My favorite part of the job is seeing how excited clients get when they see the finished product and working outdoors.

People describe me as passionate and I take great pride in the quality of my work. I love building decks and seeing the end product. I also take great pride in my faith and believe we are all children of god.
My friends say I’m outgoing and easy to talk to. I really enjoy working with my hands to create something beautiful. When I’m not at work building decks, I like to build furniture and joke around with my dad, Richard.

My biggest motivation at work is my drive towards perfection. I take pride in my attention to detail, quality control, and problem solving. The most rewarding part of my job is seeing the clients extremely happy with our work and sharing that moment with them makes me feel accomplished that I was able to help them create their dream design. In my free time I love to fish, woodwork, hike and weld. If I were to eat one food for the rest of my life it would either be pizza or mexican food. You can never go wrong with comfort food.
